This purpose of this report is to assess the impact of the police training activities undertaken by the CRC III in Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif and Jalalabad between December 2011 and February 2012. The assessment measured if training objectives had been met and offers practical recommendations on where to focus in order to improve the effectiveness of capacity building activities. This also relates to the overall goal of the juvenile justice project which is that, “By 2012 Afghan governmental institutions know how to ensure a protective and child rights based setting for children in conflict with the law.”
