Our stories - Kids from Kosovo
Documentary on the work of Terre des hommes in Kosovo, filmed in 2010.
10 minutes long, the original version is in Albanian, with French sub-titles.
In Kosovo, Terre des hommes helps more than 500 children by its activities for protection, prevention and reintegration in fighting child trafficking and exploitation.
Made by Fitim Shala, this documentary was filmed in Terre des hommes’ projects in the Pristina area of Kosovo. Children tell the camera team about what their lives were before they could attend school. All their days were spent begging on the streets so as they could eat and assist their families. Today they can take the bus to school every day, and have dreams of the future, like becoming head of the Ashkali community, or a teacher or doctor.
