Summary of Sunita's story
Nandita* was born in 1984 in a district nearby Kathmandu as the third of four children. When she had just completed 13 years of age, she was forced to marry a man aged 32. He was unemployed and alcoholic. In the beginning of the marriage, Nandita sometimes stayed at her parent’s home because her husband forced her to have sexual intercourse and often beat her.
