  • Will my donation really be used for children in need?

    Yes, because the use of all donations and expenses for each project at home and abroad is strictly monitored. The ZEWO certificate (Swiss quality label for NGOs) guarantees that we are a nonprofit-making charitable organization.

  • I made a donation to Tdh Switzerland although I wanted it to go to Tdh in Lausanne. I made a mistake - what should I do now?

    You should contact Tdh Switzerland by phone. letter or e-mail and explain the problem. We are on good terms with Tdh Switzerland and they often return to us donations sent to their account by mistake. They only ask that the request be made by the donor personally.

  • Can I make a donation for a country where you do not have any projects?

    We place top priority on and respect donor’s wishes. However, in order to do a good job, Tdh must also concentrate its efforts and it thus works in around 30 countries but no more. We therefore suggest that you support a project in one of these countries (see the section on Tdh worldwide). If you do not express any special wishes, we will use your donation wherever it is most urgently needed.

  • How do I make a memorial donation?

    You can make a donation to Tdh in memory of a loved one. See more information under Legacies.
