Christian Poveda: a murdered partner

On September 2nd, Christian Poveda, photojournalist and filmmaker, was murdered with four bullets in the head. For one and a half years, Christian had soaked up the reality of the Mara M18, a gang in Salvador, to produce an amazing documentary film: “La Vida Loca” which will be released on September 30th in France. Christian’s expertise was an important support for Tdh projects concerning Restorative Juvenile Justice. Jean Schmitz, Tdh delegate in Peru, has had the opportunity to work and share his experiences with this great humanist. “Christian is no longer here but his energy, thoughts, opinions and recommendations are still in our minds and encourage us to work for a better world, without violence, as he would have liked to know it”.
