Special medical treatments: The annual report 2009
- Published by Hornemann, Sarah
The annual and financial report 2009 of the programme for special medical treatments is available in French. Follow the journey of the children who came to Switzerland for special medical treatments and learn more about the results of our actions!
The foundation’s programme for special medical treatments makes high-end medical treatments available to poor children in developing countries who would normally neither have the means nor access to these treatments.
Through this intervention the foundation promotes an ideal of justice that is rooted in a humanity that protects the weak and vulnerable members of society. The resources our organization can invest in this programme are limited. A set amount of about 2 million Swiss francs per annum is allocated.
Every year the programme managers are faced with a challenge: to enable a maximum number of children to obtain treatment, the minimum being 200, with the best possible results for their health and a success rate of at least 95%.
