813_affiche_bimbadaboum_embed Within the framework of its 50th anniversary, the foundation Terre des hommes has been invited to figure on site of the Bimbadaboum – Festival for youngsters taking place from 19 to 22 August in Chêne-Bougeries (Canton of Geneva).

This will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about Tdh’s activities on child relief, particularly about the programme “Journey to Life” which is aimed at giving children from developing countries access to state of the art medical care. Hand-made items will be sold, and the revenues transferred to the “Journey to Life” for the benefit of a child.

Play “Le Zèbre et ses amis”
The highlight of Tdh’s presence at the festival will be a play by Jean-Marc Richard, Tdh Ambassador for children’s rights. He had the idea to the play and enacts children’s rights in a very poetic and artistic way by telling tales from the four corners of the Earth. The play stages exclusively at Bimbadaboum as a donation to Terre des hommes.

His artist, actor and musician friends, have offered to volunteer with their talent and their imagination to accompany Jean-Marc Richard on Sunday, 22 August on stage. Amongst others there will be La Castou, Karim Slama, Yves Zbaeren, Jean-Louis Millet, former Professor Maboule, and Tshanda, a 14-year old actor and musician from Congo.

Come and bring all your friends to this wonderful festival taking place for the 3rd time this year, and enjoy the family-friendly environment at a splendid location. We want to thank the organizers of this event for having us!
