To achieve its mission of child relief in more than 30 countries, Terre des hommes (Tdh) works together with many and precious partners. Find below links towards our delegations, our partners on the field, the Terre des hommes international Federation and its members, as well as specialized networks.
For international companies, foundations, associations and organizations, Terre des hommes has developed several possibilities for partnership. Which type is chosen depends on particular links to sustainable development, social responsibility or good governance. Support from companies can either be as a contribution of expertise, support in terms of voluntary work, or of course, funding. In the domains of sponsoring and fund-raising, Terre des hommes respects a fixed code of ethics. Further information on company partnership.

Aviation sans frontières (ASF)
ASF is a non-profit organization whose primary objective is to employ its resources, its professionalism and the aeronautical skills of its members for humanitarian causes.

It is thanks to this partnership that Terre des homes is able to transfer 200 critically ill children who cannot be cured in their country to Switzerland each year. -
Chaîne du bonheur - Swiss Solidarity - Glückskette
The Swiss Solidarity Foundation is Switzerland’s humanitarian solidarity and fund-raising platform. Swiss Solidarity led by the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation SRG SSR idée suisse and also works closely together with the private and print media. Work in the field is carried out by experienced Swiss relief organizations. Particularly in emergency relief, the Swiss Solidarity Foundation is one of Terre des hommes’ principal partners.

FEDEVACO
Founded in 1989, the FEDEVACO (Fédération vaudoise de coopération – Swiss cooperation federation) unites about 40 different NGOs in the area of development and cooperation, including Terre des hommes. The FEDEVACO is a privileged partner of the public entities at national, cantonal and municipal level when it comes to financing development projects in countries of the global South and East. These projects are subject to strict regulations imposed by a Technical Commission which consists of expert volunteers with profound experience and knowledge of the region.

Fédération romande de publicité et de communication FRP
The Fédération romande de publicité et de communication FRP (Swiss French Federation of publicity and communication) represents and promotes the advertising business and Swiss French communication, a very large number of associations at a national level. The FRP supports the Child Guardian Prize since 2009 and uses its recommendations in its corporate statutes.

Keeping Children Safe
Keeping Children Safe is a membership network of organisations working together to increase safeguards offered to children. Membership is open to all agencies who commit to achieving the highest level of protection for children with whom they come into contact.

La Maison de Tdh - Massongex
“La Maison” is a health care home for children from more than fifteen countries in Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. “La Maison” mainly hosts ill children transferred to Switzerland for surgery within the Specialized Care and Treatment Program of Terre des hommes.

Netzwerk Kinderrechte Schweiz
The “Child Rights Network Switzerland” consists of non governmental organisations engaged in the recognition and implementation in Switzerland of the UNO Convention for child rights. One of the main tasks of the network is reporting to the UN Committee for Child Rights, which regularly examines the progress made and obstacles encountered in realising child rights in Switzerland. This procedure involves strict observation of the implementation of the Convention of Child Rights, analysed in periodic reports and in talks with the authorities and with other organisations.

Publicité Suisse PS / Schweizer Werbung SW
Publicité Suisse/Schweizer Werbung was the first advertising organization founded in Switzerland in 1925. Its main function is to create a liberal framework for the three constitutive commercial communication groups which include the advertising client, the advertising consultant and the media. Together with Schweizer Werbung SW we discussed the depiction of children in advertising and created the advertising prize Child Guardian. Thereby Schweizer Werbung SW supports us with their outstanding expertise and generously provides us with the stage for “Days of Advertising”.

Sustainable Sanitation Alliance
The Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) is a loose network of organisations, NGOs, research institutions and individuals (in total 135 from 45 countries) working on sustainable sanitation issues. You can join the SuSanA either as a partner organization or as a member of a working group.

The several thematic working groups have been established in order to cover a variety of different sanitation aspects and to provide deliverables that underline the problems and opportunities of these aspects.
Terre des hommes is working on health issues in the domain of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene and therefore is participating as a partner organisation in SuSanA-working groups for “Sustainable Sanitation in Schools” and “Sustainable sanitation in emergencies and reconstruction situations”. -
UEFA
UEFA is the governing body of European football with the core mission of promoting, protecting and developing football at all levels of the game. UEFA believes that football can be a powerful force in changing attitudes and behaviour on and off the pitch.

UEFA supports the Terre des hommes four year project called MOVE – Psychosocial Development of Children through Games and Sport, in Albania, Moldova and Romania. The project plans to train community-based animators, sport teachers, primary school teachers and Terre des hommes staff in order to improve their competencies. MOVE has an international focus in Eastern Europe and in view of UEFA EURO 2012 is using football as a tool for development.
