The association is independent of the government, economy, religious communities and parties and promotes in 31 countries more than 400 projects for distressed children. terre of the hommes Germany sends no development aid volunteers, but supports native initiatives. These locally project partners build schools and child protection centers and care for children. Terre of the hommes aligns its work consistently at the child rights.
