Restorative Juvenile Justice in Nicaragua

Tdh is getting involved to encourage the judicial system to consider sanctions other than imprisonment. These sanctions have to be educative and not simply repressive so as to avoid recidivism. Violence prevention campaigns are carried out with the police and community organisations in the most vulnerable areas of the capital.
