Tdh works in 3 Palestinian refugees’ camps and 12 Palestinian refugees’ gatherings in the South of Lebanon to provide a protective environment for the extremely vulnerable children. Lebanon has not signed the United Nations Convention on Refugees, and the refugees therefore have very few rights and are faced with huge problems accessing appropriate assistance, particularly in the psychological field. Through case management, youth micro projects and the participation of the community and various stakeholders, Tdh is building a very much needed child protection system.
