In poor regions, people can no longer afford to buy food, with serious consequences. The number of children suffering from disease and malnutrition is rising sharply. Because the health system is not functioning properly, these children are not receiving the care they need.
Tdh teams of doctors, nurses and midwives regularly visit the poorest communities to provide medical care to those in need.
