Each year Terre des hommes publishes an Annual Report, presenting in detail its accounts and activities for the previous calendar year, and providing a view on its overall performance in terms of productivity and efficiency.
The presentation of its accounts conforms to the Swiss GAAP FER norms for non-profit organisations. The report provides donors and gift-givers with transparent information on everything relevant to the accounts and related activities.

While the market collapse, Terre des hommes stands on the side of the children.
The financial and economic crisis has had a worldwide effect of multiplying the humanitarian challenges with their social consequences. In Guinea as in Afghanistan, in Myanmar and in Haiti, children and their communities are confronted with poverty and violence, while the markets collapse. More than ever, Terre des hommes (Tdh) is at their side. We recognise our responsibility for more than a million children and their families in 35 countries. Step by step, we are bringing about the necessary change so that they can find a way out of malnutrition and a defenceless plight against disease.
(…)
A prudent investment policy ensured that Tdh avoided financial losses in 2008: we don’t play around with the fate of children. But we are not afraid to rationalise our action and can count on more than 2,000 volunteers who contribute to our mission. Thank you for everything you give for children.
