60 years old and still very far from retirement

Who are we talking about? The traditional Terre des hommes orange sale! 60 years is something to celebrate and there will be opportunities for everyone; from street sales in several Swiss municipalities to virtual oranges back for a second consecutive year.

In 1962, Terre des hommes launched an initiative to raise awareness and funds. Who would have thought, at that time, that this sale of a fruit bearing the colour of the foundation would pass the six-decade mark?

More than a simple appeal for donations, the orange sale brings people together. It brings together wonderful volunteers and many passers-by who are concerned about supporting children and their rights. Our volunteers will be happy to welcome you at one of the many stands throughout Switzerland. On 4-5 March, and again on 11-12 March, you can fill up on vitamins while supporting Terre des hommes projects. This will help to strengthen the rights of children worldwide.

Are you in Switzerland and wondering where to find the oranges? Take a look at this map and join the colourful story of Terre des hommes!

Take part in the virtual oranges

60 years old and online? Yes, despite its age, Tdh's orange action is far from being outdated. It is proving it once again with a virtual game available from Friday 4th March 2022.

In order to make child relief accessible to everyone from their smartphone or computer, our orange online sale is getting a new look. Discover the world of Terre des hommes through an immersive journey in Asia with an interactive map, rich in colour and adventure. The objective? Find as many hidden oranges as possible and finish by transforming, if you wish, your collection into a donation.

Finally, as it's a special birthday, we're preparing a draw and lots of prizes for players who collect the most oranges. Among the prizes, you will find Paleo and Alaïa Bay tickets, 5 Coop vouchers worth CHF 100, as well as Vans prizes and many other surprises!
