Yearly National Forum of the Alliance for the Rights of Child Migrants

Every year, ADEM (Alliance for the Rights of the Child) organises a themed conference about the rights of migrant children in Switzerland.

ADEM

Alliance for the Rights of Child Migrants (ADEM) was formed in 2006 by three organisations who champion rights for migrant children in Switzerland: the Swiss Foundation for International Social Service (SSI), the lnternational Institute for the Rights of the Child (IDE) and the Terre des hommes Foundation – Helping children worldwide (Tdh).

The ADEM National Forum

Every year, ADEM organises a themed conference. This year’s event was held on 28 November 2018 in Bern and aimed to clarify role of professionals and to adress the topic of integration from the legal, social, medical, educational  and participatory perspectives. This event brought together domain experts and some testimonies complemented and enriched the discussions. At the end of the conference, recommendations oriented towards the search for solutions and prepared together with young migrants were presented and then addressed to the professionals and political deciders.
