Specialised care
Terre des hommes (Tdh) arranges for disadvantaged children, particularly children suffering from heart defects, to be transferred to Europe for medical treatment or surgery. We also provide care for children in their own country and training for local doctors.

Our partners

Aviation Sans Frontières is a non-profit association whose main objective is to put its resources, its professionalism and in particular the aeronautical skills of its members at the service of humanitarian causes. Thanks to this partnership, Terre des hommes transfers every year more than 200 seriously ill children who could not be treated in their country of origin to Switzerland for hospitalization

La Maison is a medicalised home for children run by Terre des hommes-Valais. The House welcomes children from some fifteen countries in Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Within the framework of the Terre des hommes Foundation's specialised care programme, the House accommodates seriously ill children transferred to Switzerland by Tdh for hospitalisation.
