Description générale | The Access to Justice Programme focuses on high-impact interventions in the following areas: 1. The promotion and the application of non-custodial measures. 2. Legal pluralisms through a strengthened coordination between official, customary and religious actors 3. Gender justice. 4. Social cohesion. The Regional Programme Coordinator for Access to Justice in MENA, based in Amman, is responsible for maximizing the impact of the current programme in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Palestine, in Lebanon, in Egypte, in Jordan; and for expanding our access to justice interventions in Pakistan, Syria and to other countries in the region according to identified needs and opportunities. The Regional Coordinator reports to the Head of Access to Justice Programme based at headquarters in Lausanne. He/she leads and coordinates the development and implementation of the access to justice strategy in the region in line with institutional guidelines and the geographical context, while promoting a collegial, transparent, and efficient approach. |
