Description générale Within the newly established Institutional Fundraising Division, the Research and development intern assists the RFI team in implementing its Annual Action Plan.

Cahier des charges

Collecting relevant information on fundraising:

  • Research on selected donors and draft initial Donor landscapes using a predefined format.
  • In coordination with the operations and RFI colleagues identify opportunities and follow-up to submission.
  • Process and help to share information across organization, related to donors, using existing information management systems.
  • Support RFI team to implement information sharing system, and to catalogue and keep updated core reference materials
  • Serve as focal point for operations

Interaction with Implementing teams:

  • Assist the operational teams in the project development process when a consultant has been hired.
  • Assist operational teams (in link with field fundraisers) in researching for donor opportunities.

Enhancing institutional partnerships and Internationalizing institutional partnerships:

  • Preparation of donor material for donor visits and meetings.
  • Research on selected donors and give recommendations on donor approach.
Profil
  • Education: University degree
  • Language: English and French an asset
  • Experiences and aptitudes: 0 to 6 months of experience
  • Ability to manage time and priorities, respect deadlines and be punctual
  • Good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Ability to draft documents and communications materials of high quality
  • Practical knowledge of aid sector
  • IT knowledge : MS Office
