Conditions générales Expatriate contract under Swiss labor code 3’400 CHF (~2’950 €) < > 4’750 CHF (~4’100 €) net /month according to experience x 13 times, Vacancy: 25 days annual leaves local accommodation and transportation, Health insurance, accident and medical repatriation insurance, return flight. Duration: 6 months, to be confirmed if funding available.
Description générale The WASH Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and development of WASH programming. He/She ensures the monitoring of qualitative and operational aspects of the delegation’s programs on a day-to-day basis. He/She guarantees the smooth functioning of WASH activities on the bases.

Cahier des charges
  • Provide technical and management leadership to the WASH program in accordance with best practice and Tdh policy.
  • Ensure the management and implementation of delegated portfolio of projects within the program (activities, budget, plans of action, and project documentation) in line with proposals, objectives, strategies and donor requirements while ensuring high technical quality.
  • Ensure that financial, logistical and human resources are meeting needs for a smooth implementation of WASH programs, especially within the framework of new project suggestions, in coordination with the Field Coordinator an the Program Coordinator.
  • Contribute to the development of country sector strategic direction, plans and proposals.
  • Stay informed of changes in the humanitarian and political context in the area of intervention, particularly WASH related, ensuring that these subscribe properly to Tdh’s mandate and the country strategy.
  • Participate in preparing a mission strategy contributing on WASH aspects, involving local and international teams in reflection workshops that lead to recommendations/suggestions to the Coordination team.
  • In collaboration with the M&E team, develop and roll out plans and tools to ensure data are collected to better report on activities and to improve quality services for beneficiaries including: needs assessment, baseline and impact surveys.
  • Represent the organization locally amongst donors, NGOs, International Organizations and local authorities and report representation action to the Country Representative in his/her periodical report, communicated ad-hoc when necessary.
Profil
  • University degree in relevant field such as hydrology, hydraulic, geology, civil engineering, or environmental engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in humanitarian project co-ordination.
  • Experience in WASH project management in humanitarian context, especially in emergency WASH activities implementation.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills in English (C2).
  • Successful track record of developing humanitarian strategies and securing high levels of funding from institutional donors (OFDA; BPRM; DFID; ECHO; UN; etc.).
  • Extensive project management experience (management; planning; staff development and training skills) in emergency · Management experience and strong team leadership qualities.
  • Ability to work well and punctually under pressure.
  • A commitment to excellence; attention to detail.
Contexte Following the massive displacement of more than 600 000 people into Bangladesh since end of August 2017, Tdh has put in place an important emergency response plan to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees, notably on health and nutrition, WASH and protection.
